10 Reasons to take OccMed for DC's

1.     It’s a CASH business, and you don’t file any health insurance! NEED WE SAY MORE?
2.    It’s not a matter of “if” but “when” you become temporarily or permanently disabled and are unable to practice                 Chiropractic! YOU SHOULD HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE SOURCE OF INCOME!
3.    Pay Off School Loans!
4.    Fund Children's College!
5.    Fund Retirement!
6.    Staff in the office can be trained; you don’t have to be there for anything but performing physicals!  "MAILBOX MONEY!"
7.    FMCSA DOT physicals and other NON-DOT business generates Chiropractic patients secondarily!
8.    Businesses need the services you can provide, and DON’T want to use traditional corporate occupational medicine           facilities!
9.    You can reduce company recordables (
Generally, a recordable injury or illness under OSHA is one that requires                 medical treatment beyond first aid)
10.  Because getting a check for $12,000 for a half a days work, is better than getting $10 check from the insurance                   company for adjusting a patient  6 months later!

What will you Learn on Day 1

Occupational Evaluation Training for ChiropractorsCALL ME! (682)553-7800 Let Me Help You Get Started in OccMed!

DAY I – DOT
"Doctors, this is where the rubber meets the road! A must know ground floor for Occupational Medicine!"
James Raker, DC, Teaching in Dallas Fall 2018

How to do physicals (It would be helpful to be FMCSA DOT-certified, but not required to prior to attendance) How to do a real-life physical in real time, what to look for, what additional services to offer after doing the physical that can double or triple your physical exam income with no extra time from the doctor. Learn how to get additional information from the drivers and other treating doctors.

Drug collection knowledge Leave with a knowledge  for DOT drug collections which is necessary in order to get contracts with large companies. After all, companies want a one-stop-shop, they don't want to send their drivers to two or three different healthcare providers to get them back on the road.

Alcohol testing  What to do, what equipment to buy, how to leverage that into more contracts for physicals and drug testing. Again part of the one-stop shopping program.

Running a consortium  I teach you how to set up and run a consortium. Be the go-to guy for small trucking firms. I provide you with the template forms and teach you set up a consortium, and effectively run it. You make money doing this.

DAY 2- NON-DOT
"The bigger piece of the pie!  5X to 10X bigger than DOT! You must know DOT to make this work. Would not recommend taking this course without taking Day I first!"
James Raker, DC

Physicals
Learn the many physicals other than DOT.  Non-DOT physicals, Post-Offer Pre-Employement Physicals, Fit-For-Duty Physicals, Crane Physicals, Asbestos/Silica Lung Physicals, FAA Flight Physicals, Bus Driver Physicals, Return-to-Work Physicals, etc. DOT Urine Collections require sending samples out to a lab, with Non-DOT there can be urine, hair, fingernail, some samples are sent to a lab and some are performed instantly.
